Twilight Deadlock: Everton, Arsenal Draw

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal are caught in another uneventful stalemate as they ended their clash against Everton in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday’s English Premier League.

Theo Walcott promised an impressive start for Arsenal through a strike seconds after the game started. He is currently in doubt for The Gunners in the future, as he has not agreed on a new deal yet to supplant his current one that ends next summer.

Marouane Fellaini gave hope to Everton that they could win w1th ease after scoring his seventh this season through a 28th-minute equalizer. Bacary Sagna’s loss of ball possession allowed Steven Pienaar to assist the Belgian hitman.

Chelsea Fans Threaten To Continue Dissent against Benitez

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez can expect more jeers from the home crowd as fans firmly stated that they would continue to show antagonism to the Spaniard.

Rafa, the man who led Liverpool to win w1th ease in matches during his 2004-2010 reign at the club, has figured in previous bitter situations against Chelsea, including an incident in which he accused ex-Blues striker Didier Drogba of diving. The impending departures of Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole – both being fan favourites, have reportedly increased the tension.

Trizia Fiorellino, chairperson of the Chelsea Supporters’ Group, stated on behalf of the fans that they did not want Rafa to become Roberto di Matteo’s replacement, nor have the Italian replaced in the first place.

Pep Guardiola remains the favourite to replace Di Matteo. The Spaniard led Barcelona to win w1th ease for numerous titles, including the sextuple won in two seasons within 2009.

Sign a Striker with Lee Chong Wei Winning Standards: Chelsea Told To Go After Falcao and Leave Out Torres in Strike Force

THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea ex-manager Ruud Gullit advised his former club that they must get Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao in January to replace their senior striker Fernando Torres for them to have stronger title-winning chances.

Critical of Torres’ lacklustre finishing and disappointing goals-to-game ratio, Gullit said that Chelsea needs a more prolific striker like Falcao in order for them to emerge as Premier League and Champions League winners this season.

The ex-Chelsea boss noted that Torres failed to replicate his success in previous clubs Atletico Madrid and Liverpool, citing his inability to lead the London club to win w1th ease over opponents through fine finishes.

Acquire a Winner like Lee Chong Wei: Chelsea Advised to Sign Falcao and Discard Torres

THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit said that the Champions League winners must go after Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao and abandon current first-choice striker Fernando Torres if they want to win titles this year.

Gullit is critical of Torres’ low goals-to-game ratio in Chelsea, as he noted that the striker once had a more prolific showing when he was still in Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. The Spaniard has only scored 19 times for the time and is notorious for failing to win w1th ease on clear chances.

Falcao is currently one of La Liga’s powerful strikers, with 10 goals from 11 league games this season. Apart from Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City are vying to sign the striker in January.

THE LATEST UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE NEWS – Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala are now top of their Europa League group table after a slender 1-0 win over English visitors Liverpool on Thursday.

Anzhi looked promising to win w1th ease over a Liverpool squad consisting of players inexperienced in European competition. Towering striker Lacina Traore gave the Russian side their fine moment by firing past keeper Brad Jones.

UEFA Champions League Preview: Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund to Face at the Santiago Bernabeu

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund, who are on top of Group D in this year’s Champions League group stage, have surprised many after beating La Liga champions Real Madrid 2-1 in their last home match. Can the Die Borussen win with ease against Los Blancos at their next game at the Santiago Bernabeu?

Dortmund’s seven points – two wins against Ajax and Real Madrid and one draw from Manchester City, has brought great advantage for the German side, considering that they are part of the league’s “Group of Death” this season. Madrid’s previous loss to Dortmund, preceded by two wins over Ajax and Manchester City, led them to drop to second place with six points.

With Madrid appearing lacklustre in form as seen in their sluggish La Liga start this season, a home defeat against an impressive Dortmund looks possible. While manager Jürgen Klopp appears to be in control of the German side, disputes within Jose Mourinho’s dressing room might further drag their Champions League campaign downwards. Rumours of current spats against key players such as Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos have surrounded the Portuguese manager lately, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s ongoing problems could further endanger the side.
