12BET UFC Asian Bookie Tips: Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez

Venue: MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vas, Nevada

Date: December 30, 2012
Time: 11:55 AM (+8:00 GMT)

UFC SPORTSBOOKS TIPS – Junior dos Santos will become the centrepiece of UFC 155 this Sunday at the MGM Grand as he faces Cain Velasquez for the second time in his bid to defend his heavyweight championship title.

Best Sportsbook Odds from 12BET.com - MoneyLine: Junior dos Santos as Favourite to Win

“Cigano” dos Santos has a reputation of being UFC heavyweight division’s knockout specialist. He led his way to the championship title last year through a series of knockouts, and took down Velasquez in the Final through a lightning-fast exhibition.

Many would expect an unexceptional form from Velasquez, since the fighter rested for a year following his defeat by dos Santos. Yet, he is in top health now, and has shown his determination for revenge after he battered Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva to reach the Final this year.

12BET.com, the best Malaysia sportsbook, rates Junior dos Santos as the favourite at 1.480. Dos Santos could repeat last year’s rapid takedown of Velasquez, but the Mexican-American is a threat to reckon as he outclassed top fighters such as wrestler Brock Lesnar.

12BET Football Tips: Norwich City vs. Chelsea

Venue: Carrow Road (Norwich City)

Date: December 26, 2012
Time: 23:00 (+8:00 GMT)

FOOTBALL SPORTSBOOK ODDS TIPS – Norwich City will continue their Premier League run this season by hosting Chelsea on Wednesday’s game. The Canaries have three wins, one draw and one loss in their last five matches, while the Blues have won four times and lost once.

Best Football Bet Asian Handicap: Chelsea as Favourites, 0.5-1 (0.75)-Handicap for Norwich City

Norwich City saw their 10-match unbeaten run broken after an away defeat 2-1 against West Bromwich Albion. Their 10th-place position in the table proves that they have recovered from their slow start to the season, having lost to Fulham 5-0 in their first match.

Chelsea enjoy a decent run in the league, particularly with their previous home thrashing of Aston Villa 8-0. Despite being behind by one match after the postponement of their game against Southampton, the Blues continue to be enduring under interim manager Rafael Benitez.

12BET.com, ranked one of the best Malaysia sportsbook websites, have Chelsea as favourites to win with odds at 1.790. Norwich City has a handicap of 0.5-1 (0.75) at 2.170, hence giving them an advantage over the Blues in the event of a draw.

Frustrating 9GAG Moment: Man City Fall before Man United in Manchester Derby

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Wayne Rooney’s brace and Robin van Persie’s injury-time penalty lifted Manchester United above their staunch rival neighbours Manchester City 2-3 in Sunday’s Premier League action.

Touted for his lacklustre start this season, Rooney came out of the shadows to score twice for United during the first half. The striker’s significant contribution brought his league derby goals record to seven, equal to that of iconic forward Eric Cantona.

Yaya Toure proved pivotal for City’s resurgence in the second half, as the powerful midfielder converted after Carlos Tevez and David Silva failed to find the back of the net. Pablo Zabaleta levelled his side through a firing effort from 12 yards.

Come injury time, United sought to leave a footpr1nt in the derby by sending van Persie to take the free kick after Tevez’ unfair challenge on Rafael Da Silva. Keeper Joe Hart failed to clear the Dutch striker’s bottom-corner shot.

Speculating WhatsApp: Chelsea Will Not See Return of Avram Grant

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Despite persistent reports, Chelsea have not reached out to former Avram Grant regarding an assistant role to interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Rafa went on without winning his three games for Chelsea after taking over from the reins of Roberto Di Matteo. Fans showed disapproval of the Spaniard’s takeover, noting his days as Liverpool manager in which his side had a bitter rivalry against the Blues.

Grant managed to leave a footpr1nt of positive impression to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. He led the Blues as their interim manager in 2007-08 and brought them to the Champions League final. Under him, the Stamford Bridge side never lost a league home game.

Sign a Striker with Lee Chong Wei Winning Standards: Chelsea Told To Go After Falcao and Leave Out Torres in Strike Force

THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea ex-manager Ruud Gullit advised his former club that they must get Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao in January to replace their senior striker Fernando Torres for them to have stronger title-winning chances.

Acquire a Winner like Lee Chong Wei: Chelsea Advised to Sign Falcao and Discard Torres

THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit said that the Champions League winners must go after Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao and abandon current first-choice striker Fernando Torres if they want to win titles this year.

Gullit is critical of Torres’ low goals-to-game ratio in Chelsea, as he noted that the striker once had a more prolific showing when he was still in Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. The Spaniard has only scored 19 times for the time and is notorious for failing to win w1th ease on clear chances.

Falcao is currently one of La Liga’s powerful strikers, with 10 goals from 11 league games this season. Apart from Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester City are vying to sign the striker in January.
