Football Scoreboard Latest Match News: Republic of Ireland Manager Giovanni Trapattoni to Hold On Despite Pressure

FOOTBALL LATEST MATCH UP OCTOBER – Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni said that he would not bow out of his job, even though his side has failed to shine internationally.

The Republic of Ireland squad has not played past through rival teams well these days. They recently suffered a devastating 6-1 defeat to Germany – their heaviest home loss to date.

While critics have cited his side’s lack of winning energy, Trapattoni insists that he will only quit “When there is no positivity, when I ask the team to do something and they do not do it."
